What do you do at Genflow?
As the Talent Manager, I work on creating strategic and authentic partnerships between the talent and brands they love. I also spend my days creating content plans, scouting for the next big talent, researching on social media, and speaking with my talent and brands to create exciting concepts for new partnerships.
What were you doing prior to Genflow?
I graduated in Fashion Marketing from London College of Fashion, and then I worked in a modelling agency on their talent management division.
How did you land this role?
Genflow's Chief Growth Officer actually reached out to me on LinkedIn; the power of social media.
The highlight of your time at Genflow so far?
Such a hard one as I honestly love every single day. I always get so excited when we create partnerships with brands I know the talent absolutely love, such as Loose Unicorns and Adidas. Partnerships can take a really long time to finalise, so the feeling when you finally close a really amazing deal is such a good feeling for myself and the talent.
Advice for someone starting new in the creator space?
1. Show as much of your personality as possible; this has the ability to completely differentiate yourself from the volume of creators on social media right now. Followers fall in love with people's personalities, humour, and the little quirks and anecdotes.
2. Video content is also absolute key: think about reels, stories, IGTV, YouTube etc, as video content is really the only way to show your personality with your audience.
